Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan will conduct the three-stage joint military exercise "Power of Unity — 2026," featuring ground troops, aviation, naval forces, and unmanned aerial vehicles across Karabakh, Nakhchivan, and the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan are set to stage comprehensive joint military maneuvers titled "Power of Unity — 2026," the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced.
The joint drills will be conducted across three distinct phases in strategic locations: the Gizilgaya training center within the Karabakh economic region, the Karabaglar training center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira naval range in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
The maneuvers will involve military personnel, combat vehicles, naval vessels, combat aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The primary operational objectives are aimed at enhancing interoperability for joint combat missions, coordinating command structures, standardizing training protocols, and integrating advanced tactical combat capabilities among the allied armed forces.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed that Turkish Armed Forces personnel and military aviation assets have already arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the exercises.
The ministry has not yet disclosed the exact start and conclusion dates for the maneuvers.
