Zelenskyy Discusses New Warfare Technologies with Palantir

New technologies could strengthen Kyiv’s position on the battlefield.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, one of the leading U.S. tech companies specializing in big data analytics and artificial intelligence, widely used in defense, intelligence, and operational management.

According to Zelenskyy, Kyiv continues to deepen its cooperation with the U.S. defense sector. He подчеркнул that Ukraine and the company have significant potential for joint initiatives.

“There are areas where we can be useful to each other — both in strengthening defense capabilities and advancing civilian technologies,” the president said.

The sides discussed key направления технологического развития, including AI applications, intelligence data processing, and digital solutions that can be deployed both on the battlefield and in civilian infrastructure.

In recent years, Palantir’s technologies have already been used to analyze aerial attacks, process large volumes of data, and support decision-making in combat conditions.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain close contact between their teams and to further develop their partnership.

Kyiv expects that deeper cooperation with companies like Palantir will enhance the country’s technological capabilities and improve efficiency in the security sector.

At the same time, Palantir Technologies’ activities have often been the subject of public debate, particularly regarding its collaboration with government and military institutions. There have also been recurring claims in the information space about the company’s potential involvement in sensitive defense projects.
